It was a Thursday night on the west side of Madison, WI, and Full Compass Systems was having a company party. Full Compass is a huge national retailer for pro audio and video equipment, and they employ some of the sharpest ears in the industry. It was an honor to play for them.
The night had a Mardi Gras theme, complete with oysters on the half-shell and bananas foster (yum!). The good times kept on rolling when Nicky and Josh took to the pianos, and the crowd sang along and danced with every song. Having the show set up in the round gave everybody a great view of the dueling pianos action.
A special treat was when one of the Full Compass employees (and Piano Fondue entertainer), Jim Ripp, got up for a special request and played some Sir Mix-a-Lot! The three piano players rocked it like it was 1992!
Big thanks to the folks at Full Compass for having Piano Fondue at the party. It was a spectacular event, and we felt like the cherry on top (although the bananas foster was delicious)!
